An interesting topic of discussion today indeed. Mindset, and the power of our thoughts. Our thoughts combined with our attitude are the key elements to successful growth. How are we supposed to grow without being challenged? How are we supposed to grow if we repeat the same tasks over and over again? Pushing boundaries is what gets you by boundaries, not by standing around waiting. Your brain is a muscle. If you think about the muscles on the rest of your body, they need to be pushed over limits in order to grow. This is the kind of stuff that Carol Dweck speaks about "Make Challenge The New Comfort Zone". It's very inspiring and motivating. When you think of it, there is absolutely no other feeling like completing something challenging, and if it comes to completion that's amazing growth happening instantly and if not, it's the resilience to try again which will make you grow even more.
