Hello! This week I will be thinking back on the blog commenting and feedback project assignments.
Feedback In
First of all, I haven't gotten much feedback at all. This is, of course, a fault of my own (as I've discussed before) due to me missing out on a couple of project-related uploads and documents, I obviously wouldn't be able to get feedback from other students. Although, the little feedback that I did get, in my opinion, wasn't necessarily 'feedback'. The comments I received were great, but they weren't constructive nor critical. They were all complements which left me in the same exact position.
Feedback Out
Personally, I believe all of my feedback and comments were quite detailed and helpful. I did complement work, but I also suggested specific ways to improve. Also, a couple of times where I was giving feedback I noticed certain writing techniques (on the likes of notes, etc) that I thought would help me a lot so I look forward to taking these note-taking and writing strategies on board.

Blog Comments
I think the blog comments were really helpful in order for all of us to get a bit more connected with one another and get to communicate regularly as a lot of us tend to stick to our own groups. It may have even given others the confidence to make some new friends within the course. Considering we are in our second year now, it may be daunting to try and connect with new people because, as I said, we are all stuck in our own groups. So, the likes of blog comments and getting to read introductions on one another makes us more familiar with each other and less fearful to try and connect.
Looking forward
First of all, in the future, I need to actually stay on top of my work to get feedback in the first place! But for the future of giving my own feedback, I definitely think I could be better in general. For example, I would like to be a bit more constructive rather than generic praise. Giving suggestions and asking the person questions about certain things which may be unclear in the posts would give them complete knowledge of where they can improve and why. Also, if I begin to post comments which are less 'filled with praise' and more 'filled with suggestions', this may encourage the person (who received the comment) to then post similar feedback and content on another person's blog, helping them out and then creating a domino effect until we are all giving useful constructive feedback.
